When it stops being fun
Problems rarely start with large amounts. They tend to start with small changes: an extra round, a later night, a bit of money borrowed "just this once". When the game begins to affect your mood, relationships or finances, it has moved beyond entertainment.
Tele-MANAS, listed further down this page, is free and open around the clock.
Habits that help
The fun-mode demo uses play credit, but time is real. A few habits keep it in proportion:
- decide how long you will play before you start, and use a phone timer
- stop at the timer, whatever the balance shows
- take breaks and do not play when tired, upset or after drinking
- use your phone's screen-time settings to cap daily use
What the demo cannot teach
It is easy to see patterns in the strip of recent multipliers at the top of the screen. They are not there:
- each round's result is set before take-off
- past rounds have no effect on the next
- so-called predictors cannot know the outcome
Treat the strip as a record of what has happened, not a hint about what comes next.
The legal position in India
Since 1 May 2026, Indian law has barred online money games, whether based on chance, skill or both. Under the 2025 Act and the 2026 Rules, banks and payment systems may not process payments for them, and their advertising is prohibited. We describe the game and its free demo; we do not point anyone towards real money play.
Free helplines
Sometimes the hardest step is saying it out loud. A trusted person at home is a good place to start, and so is a helpline. Tele-MANAS (14416, or 1-800-891-4416) answers around the clock at no cost. iCall (9152987821) is available Monday to Saturday between 10 am and 8 pm.
Blocking apps and self-exclusion tools on your phone can support the change.
Keeping under-18s safe
A few simple steps help keep gambling content away from children:
- set up a separate child profile or account on shared devices
- turn on parental controls and website filtering
- use family settings in your app store to block unsuitable apps
- talk with children about why such games are for adults
